The Ultimate Hair Removal Guide.
Ok ,well Im 18 and my hair has begun to thin out ,especially at the crown and temple area where my hairline has begun to recede. I look young for my age so the receeding hairline is quite noticable and often people comment on it , which doesnt bother me that much but makes me feel insecure or embarrased at times. I shampoo and condition my hair every time I have a shower( once a day) this seems to add volume to my hair for a certain amount of time and makes the spaces in my hair less noticable.
Ive been using rogaine foam 5% for 2 weeks now with no help. So Im planning on trying some more of the products and remedies out there. To everyone who has encountered this situation and/or found a remedie/solution to hair thinning that has actually worked please help me! Anything will help!
Im thinking of looking at a anti-DHT blocker or propencia etc. please comment on the products yo have tried aswell! Thanks for your answers!
I dont like it so shaving wont be an answer!
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is made from testosterone by an enzyme called 5 alpha reducates. DHT is a by-product of testosterone. Testosterone is responsible for the formation of primary sex characteristics of the male during embryonic life and secondary sex characteristics at puberty. Increased production of DHT in adult males is thought to result in male pattern baldness. In males, progesterone acts to limit the production of DHT by testosterone.
Significantly, if you can block this over production of DHT then your hair loss can be stopped and even reversed. Therefore a safe and effective avenue to treating hair loss has been the development of ‘5AR inhibitors’. These are a group of substances that stop the action of the 5AR enzyme and hence lower DHT levels, without effecting testosterone levels and sexual performance.
Over the last couple of years DHT inhibiting drugs have come onto the market and have shown good results in inhibiting hair loss and in many instances reversing it. Thymuskin is one such drug. Its range has clinical data backing it, it is more effective than any of the other products, but it is a tad more expensive than some. With a success rate of 67% in men and 97% in women, Thymuskin is an excellent DHT inhibitor and growth stimulator.
Another good DHT inhibitor is Revivogen. It also contains growth stimulators. Excellent results in men, with 77% reporting positive results including decreased hair loss and increased thickness of the hair. Tricomin on the other hand makes use of copper peptides to shorten the resting phase of the hair resulting in a greater number of hairs in the growth phase at any given time. This results in thicker hair and it is classed as a type of growth stimulator.
Procerin attacks hair loss with DHT inhibiting capsules and a topical serum applied to the scalp. The serum contains a fantastic set of growth stimulators and growth inhibitors. A recent addition to the stable is Nanogen Hair Loss Products. The Nanofibres hair concealer covers up thinning hair. Then there are the Nanoguard, Nanothik and Nanogaine products. The Nanoguard is a DHT inhibitor shampoo and the Nanogaine is an SOD. All are excellent products supplied by www.combat-hair-loss.co.uk.

A DHT Blocker and DHT Shampoo are formulated to block the conversion of testosterone to DHT – the leading contributor of hair loss and male pattern balding.
Topical blocking products such as concentrated serums and gels, as well as follicle stimulators and shampoos contain botanical extracts that target DHT in the follicles and hair glands. They are effective at not only stopping hair loss when used as directed, they help restore natural hair growth.
Male hormones, Androgenic hormones, are of three primary types: Testosterone, Androsteinedione, and Dihydrotestosterone or DHT. Androgen is found or produced in the male testes and in the adrenal glands.
Exposure of follicles to DHT leads to androgenic alopecia or what is called male pattern baldness. In fact, DHT is the leading cause of male balding and is known to contribute to scalp acne, as well.
The hair follicle is exposed to DHT – which is up to three times stronger than testosterone – when 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme found in the sebaceous gland (follicle pore) converts testosterone to DHT. DHT restricts capillary blood flow depleting it of vital nutrients and minerals – essentially cutting off its life supply.
The sebaceous layer is the third of three dermal layers found in the skin and scalp. DHT forms in the sebaceous gland and works its way into the root and bulb. Follicles therefore become direct victims of exposure to DHT. To lessen the conversion of testosterone to DHT, one needs to limit the activity of 5-alpha-reluctase enzyme with hair DHT shampoo and a DHT blocker.
Blockers and shampoos rely heavily on active ingredients such as Trichogen® to combat DHT. Trichogen® stimulates blood flow. Blocking the enzyme is important but it is also important to add vitamins and amino acids with your diet or hair loss products.
Trichogen® has also been shown to improve the brushing parameters of the hair, due to its excellent conditioning properties. Your scalp condition will improve and become healthier. Sebaceous secretion of sebum (hair oil) will be regulated, and dandruff and itching will be decreased. Trichogen® has also been shown to have a strong photo protective effect on the hair against UVB.
DHT Blockers have been introduced to lead the fight against temporary male and female hair loss and to stimulate natural, new hair growth. Formulated with Trichogen® in volume up to 12%, a botanical extract complex proven in clinical studies to promote hair growth, a DHT Blocker is a topical application developed with active ingredients to promote and invigorate Anagen phase hair growth while blocking 5 Alpha Reductase enzymes that lead to DHT production and hair loss.
Block DHT & 5 Alpha Reductase enzymes
Provide essential amino acids for follicle development
Provides proteins for hair growth
Increase scalp stimulation, root depth, and follicle thickness
Improve microcirculation and capillary health
A DHT Blocker and DHT Shampoo help stop hair loss by effectively blocking DHT. Additional active ingredients often help soothe scalp irritation and infuse moisture and hydration for additional follicle health.

I’ve been taking gernic Avodart called Dutas for thinning hair for two years now. Theoretically it works similar to Propecia only better as Propecia blocks one form of DHT and dutasteride blocks BOTH forms of DHT. I shedded at first as is expected to make room for healthy new hairs, the shedding stopped and my crown filled in quite well, but of course not like when I was fifteen – it was still a little thinner in the back. It stayed that way for over a year, but now, two years after starting Dutas, the shedding has begun again. The hairs that are falling out are thin and weak looking. are they ones that have been holding on all this time and are just now falling out to make room for better ones, or has the medicine stopped working and it’s back to balding? Should I stop the meds or keep going? Once again there is noticable thinning in the back after 1 1/2 years of satisfactory results. Can the body build an immunity to this medicine?
Many people believe a myth that DHT, the hormone that causes hair to thin and fall out, is produced from testosterone. Do you know what the truth is?
DHT is actually produced from an excess amount of estrogen (the female hormone) in the body. Men suffering from male pattern baldness need to understand that this excess amount of estrogen needs to be eliminated to stop their hair loss.
Excess estrogen is caused by toxins. You receive toxins from almost everything you come in contact with these days, from processed food and air pollution.
Your liver naturally cleans these toxins away, but most people’s have weak livers that are too slow at cleaning toxins because of the high amount of toxins we take in every day.
You need to eliminate these toxins to stop the increasing estrogen and remove extra DHT production.
What to do:
Take a liver cleansing supplement that boosts the liver’s ability to clean toxins. You’ll stop your body from producing more estrogen and DHT.
Now you need to remove the DHT you already have in your body, which will continue to cause hair loss. You will still have male pattern baldness and lose hair every day unless you do something about this existing DHT.
This DHT will continue to damage your hair follicles by blocking essential nutrients from going to the scalp and will cause your hair to start falling out rapidly as time passes. Below is the most effective method to block this DHT.
What to do:
You’ve probably heard of or seen dozens of hair loss products that claim they block DHT. Some may be more expensive than others, but they aren’t necessarily better. You can make your own at home, but that’ll take your time and you’ll need to make your “recipe” almost every week over and over again.
The smartest choice will be getting a hair loss
supplement which you can conveniently take at home that naturally eliminates the DHT from your body so you’ll never have to worry about losing hair again. It’ll only take you 2 weeks to start seeing your hair again. These products are great because they remove existing DHT and stop DHT from increasing in your body.
Beware of products that have contaminated ingredients that don’t work and can actually harm your hair follicles more. These products survive because nobody wants to file a lawsuit against a large company, because it’s obvious they’ll lose.
